The Redmond School District will be recommending the Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) & Caminos al Conocimiento Esencial for K-5 language arts instructional materials adoption. 

Sample materials will be available onsite for public preview at the District Office, located at 145 SE Salmon Ave, beginning Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024 through Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., with the exception of Jan. 15, 2024, in observance of Martin Luther King Day. 

CKLA and Caminos were selected for a variety of reasons, including: 

• Alignment to the Science of Reading

• Accelerating our shift to implementing research-based practices

• Rigorous and engaging content

• Systematic and explicit routines

• Fun to teach and engaging to all learners

• A strong and comprehensive Tier 1 instruction for all students

• The best-fit curriculum to increase student achievement
