15 Years Teaching

Graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing and a minor in Pharmacy.  Received teaching license from Linfield, along with Reading Endorsement from Eastern Oregon University.  Taught 4th, 6th and 7th grade in Portland and Eugene area before moving to Central Oregon.  9th year at Tom McCall.  Previously taught kindergarten, 1/2 blend and 2nd grade before moving to 4th grade.  Mrs. Perkins lives in Bend with her husband, Murray.  She is the proud mother of two daughters, Sarah, who lives in Boston and Grace, who is a college student in Portland.  In her free time Mrs. Perkins loves going for a long run on the beautiful trails near her home, reading a good book, or planning her next travel adventure.  Her favorite places so far are anywhere in Europe and New York City.
