I graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I also earned a math endorsement and reading endorsement. I spent a year studying at the University of Delaware exploring the east coast. I began my career as a sixth grade teacher in Culver and have taught all elementary grades with the exception of kindergarten and second grade. I’ve taught for over thirty years and have found something to love about the children at every grade I’ve taught. I’ve been fortunate to be a first grade teacher at Tom McCall Elementary School since it opened. 

My husband and I have two children who graduated from Redmond High School. We live in Redmond where we enjoy hiking at Smith Rock, kayaking on local lakes, and riding bikes in the canyon.
