Meet Mrs. Alexander

Hi! I’ve been teaching for 26 years, and have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I’ve been teaching in Redmond for the past 15 years. Before that I was in Reno, Nevada. I love to teach math and in 1995 I was named the Presidential Awardee in Elementary Mathematics for the state of Nevada.

I’m married and have a 15 year old son. He is a chapter officer for the Redmond FFA Chapter. We are from a ranching family so we love raising our Hereford cattle and being outdoors. My son shows his cattle at several shows during the year so we keep busy with that. We also enjoy camping, riding four wheelers, and exploring Oregon.

My hobbies include scrap booking and reading. I love collecting antiques, Longaberger baskets, and school related items.
